Meritas Games Video

See the video link below regarding the 2009 Meritas Games & Fine Arts Festival, which will take place in Orlando, Florida on December 1st -5th . This year’s spectacular event brings students from all Meritas Family of Schools together to compete in athletics and/or study, learn, and perform fabulous music together. Last year, Rancho Solano won the coveted Meritas Cup and we are looking forward to returning and retaining the prestigious title.

Gilbert Teacher Selected by KNIX as Teacher of the Week

On Thursday, September 18th, Gilbert campus 2nd grade teacher Meg Ewing was surprised in her classroom  by representatives from Clear Channel and KNIX who showed up to campus unexpectedly to celebrate her as the “teacher of the week”.  More >


Rancho Names New Executive Athletic Director

Rancho Solano Preparatory is proud to introduce Mr. Matthew Harris as the newest member of the Rancho Solano family. Matt will be serving as the new Executive Athletic Director overseeing athletics for all of Rancho Solano. He earned his BA degree in English Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and his Master's degree in Education Leadership from Northern Arizona University. More >


Mini Mustang Program Enrolling Now

Now introducing our new "Mini Mustang" program at the Gilbert, Greenway & Hillcrest Campuses beginning August of 2009. This program provides your 2 1/2 year old the opportunity to experience the RSPS curriculum. Through Rancho's balanced program our young preschoolers will enjoy stories, exploration time, music, games, building blocks, and more designed to: develop language growth and information, provide opportunities for development of small and large motor skills and present play experiences to build concepts, listening skills, and develop socially and emotionally. Rancho Solano Captures Top Spot in Meritas Athletic Tournament

We are excited to report that the Rancho Solano athletic representatives to the Meritas Games, held during the first week of December at Walt Disney's World of Sports complex in Orlando, Florida, returned victorious. Due to their efforts, coupled with the leadership of our coaching staff, they returned home with the Meritas Cup, an annual honor bestowed to the Meritas school with the best standing in the tournament system. The nearly 60 RSPS middle school athletes (with representation from every Rancho campus) placed very well in team and individual competitions respectively. Rancho captured top spots in tennis, track, baseball, volleyball, and basketball. More >
